"I am writing to thank you for your work renovating a powder room and living room at my house recently. I was very pleased with the way the project turned out and the efficiency with which the job was planned completed. I especially wanted to point out that John, the carpenter who did most was a pleasure to interact with. He worked very hard (including into the evening and on weekends) to complete the job on schedule, was incredibly tidy and considerate despite the obviously messy nature of any substantial renovation that involves demolition and sanding drywall, and was an absolute gentleman. Considering the fact that there is not a straight wall, level floor or standard window or door in the house, but lots of odd moldings and construction methods. John did a fantastic job of correcting these problems, finding creative work arounds, and finding moldings and materials to match the original features and period of the house. His craftsmanship was excellent throughout and his willingness to suggest materials much appreciated. He also corrected the mistakes of the electricians by invisibly repairing holes in wood paneling that they cracked while installing new sconce wiring. I would recommend John to anyone. Jack League was also outstanding. I appreciated the ease with which I could contact him to resolve questions as they arose. He was always willing to stop by the job site to collect signatures or drop off samples at times that worked for me and I could rely on him returning calls and answering all my questions efficiently. Last, I wanted to mention that I appreciated the speed of the estimating process, the personal visit by one of the owners of American Contracting Services at the start of the job and the quality of the work overall. You did an excellent job. I will certainly contact American Contracting Services next time I need work done."
