American Contracting Services, Inc. won three ROYAL Remodeler of the Year Awards, one Merit Award and one Honorable Mention Award in the Maryland Improvement Contractors Association (MICA) 2014 competition. As a result American Contracting continues their record of consecutive Remodeler of the Year Awards since 1999.

American won ROYAL Awards in three categories: Residential Addition, Residential Historical and Commercial. The Merit Award was for Entire House Remodel and the Honorable Mention was for Residential Bath. The awards are judged by an independent panel of architects selected by MICA
The Residential Addition Award was for an addition in northern Baltimore County that added space for a new kitchen and dining area. The Residential Historical Award was for the stabilization and protection of the Merrick Log House in Cromwell Valley State Park. The Commercial Award was for the renovation of a church into office space in the Roland Park neighborhood in Baltimore City.
The Merit Award was for an entire house remodel in Towson and the Honorable Mention Award was for bathroom project in Ellicott City.
